"I use the seat of my two-step step stool or the stools we use at the kitchen counter or kitchen counter to set up groceries. Of course, I now have a rolling garden cart that I load the groceries in to roll them up our access ramp into the house--the heavy stuff is in the bottom [close to the right place in the cabinets for our canned goods."
